De Quest 31 was Prout's antwoord op de populaire Catalac catamarans. Een gezellig interieur met veel hout en  gedessineerde bekleding, gepaard aan de betere zeileigenschappen en voldoende accom-modatie voor 5-6 opvarenden plus de achterlijk geplaatste mast, waardoor de Quest ook makkelijk solo gezeild kon worden verklaren het grote succes van dit model en haar latere opvolgers. The Quest 31 was Prout's answer to the popular Catalac catamarans. A cozy interior with lots of wood and patterned upholstery, linked to better performance and ample acommodation for 5-6 crew plus the mastposition with halyards in the cockpit, making the Quest very easy to sail single handed, explain the great succes of this model and its successors.
