De Hobart 900 mag gezien worden als de Franse tegen-hanger van de populaire 9m Catalac. De Hobart 900 is wat lichter en heeft ondiepe kieltjes waardoor het jacht wat hoger aan de wind kan zeilen. De Franse boot is met meer hout in het interieur afgewerkt, dat nu wel wat cosmetische zorg nodig heeft. The Hobart 900 can be seen as the French counterpart of the popular 9m Catalac. The Hobart is lighter and has shallow LAR keels that allow her to point better to windward. The French boat is finished with a lot more wood in the interior, that can use some cosmetic TLC by now.
