"Hydrofolie" is oorspronkelijk ontworpen door Xavier Joubert  voor de OSTAR en Transat en Double  voor
Alain Labbé en Loic Caradec. Door tijdgebrek zijn de verschillende onderdelen op drie gespecialiseerde
Franse werven gebouwd. Dankzij de verstelbare vleugels zeilt de "Hydrofolie" opvallend rechtop. In latere jaren is het interieur geschikt gemaakt voor spartaanse toer-tochten. In 2009 heeft de huidige Belgische eigenaar het jacht constructief geheel laten nakijken en voorzien van nieuwe zeilen, waarmee het aan een derde jeugd
kan beginnen.		 "Hydrofolie" was designed by Xavier Joubert for Alain Labbé and Loic Caradec who wanted to enter the Transat en Double and the OSTAR. Through lack of time the various components were built by three specialized French yards. Thanks to the adjustable foils the "Hydrofolie" heels remarkable little. In later years the interior layout was adjusted to spartan cruising. The present Belgian owner has had the construction scrutinized in 2009 and bought a new suit of sails, so the yacht can begin its third youth.
