Dit type catamaran is heel bekend geworden door de boeken die Wolfgang Hausner over zijn diverse oceaanreizen schreef. Deze inspireerden de eigenaar van Talamanca II, een Duitse meubelmaker, om net
zo' n catamaran te bouwen. Ook hij maakte zijn droom waar en kwam in Zuid-Amerika een lieve vrouw tegen die niet van zeilen houdt. Daarom is zijn schip verkocht aan de huidige eigenaar die het naar Turkije en later naar N-Duitsland zeilde. Helaas moet deze de "Talamanca II" nu om gezondheidsredenen verkopen. |
This type of catamaran became very well-known through the books of Wolfgang Hausner who built and cruised the Seven Seas with his Taboo II. This inspired the owner of Talamanca II, a German cabinetmaker, to built just such a catamaran. He also made his dreams come true and found a lovely wife in South-America, who doesn't like sailing. Therefore he sold his yacht to the present owner who sailed it first to Turkey and then proceeded to Northern Germany, where he has to sell her now for health reasons.. |
