De Corsair 28 is een inklapbare, snelle toer- en wedstrijd trimaran die naar verhouding gemakkelijk achter een sterke gezinsauto te vervoeren is, dankzij het lage gewicht en lage profiel op de trailer. Het tewaterlaten en optuigen kan in een half uur gebeuren. De mast wordt gezet en gestreken met behulp van een lier op de trailer. Met de doordachte indeling is de F-28 met achterkajuit zeer geschikt voor een gezin met twee kinderen. De zitbanken kunnen veranderd worden in twee slaapplaatsen of een verlenging van de voorkooien. De"Tigris" heeft altijd in een droge ruimte overwinterd en wordt in uitstekende staat en met een complete uitrusting incl. wegtrailer en steunbokken, vaarklaar aangeboden door de eerste eigenaar.

The Corsair 28 is a folding, fast cruiser/racer trimaran that is relatively easy to tow behind a strong family car because of its lightweight and low profile on the trailer. The transition from trailering to sailing takes about 30 minutes. The mast is raised or lowered using the installed winch on the trailer, or a crane. With a well planned main cabin and the full size aft cabin the Corsair 28 allows for fast family cruising with two children. The settee area converts either to two singles or an expansion of the V-berth.
