Description
This foam-sandwich catamaran is a faster but a little more spartan equivalent to the Maldives. She cruised to the West Indies shortly after her launch. Under private ownership she then spent a year coastal cruising there before being laid up ashore. She was sailed back to North France from the West Indies during '97. A well proven yacht now for sale with sensible equipment and ready to sail, because the present Dutch owner spends most of his time working abroad. The protective aluminium kielbands should be replaced/refastened.
Accommodation
White GRP interior with orange curtains and yellow cushions in the saloon. Blue upholstery in the hulls. 4-6 seats in the saloon, Starboard hull from front to rear: Storage and heads, galley and double bed. Port hull: Very roomy single or cramped double bunk, storage on both sides and a double bed aft. Both doubles can be screened off by curtains. Another double is possible in the saloon. Headroom: 1,5m - 1,8m in the saloon, 1,82m in the hulls.
Rigging and Sails
Silver anodised alu. mast and boom, stainless steel standing rigging, Rope halyards, Anderson Stainless steel winches, 34m2 fully battened mainsail and 20m2 dacron headsail (2001), both by Le Bihan + 1 new Rolly Tasker Mainsail (never used), 4m2 stormjib, 70m2 spinnaker (never used), Plastimo headsail-furler.
Engine + Electrics
1 x YAMAHA 4str. outboard with hydraulic lift. less than 50 hours, last serviced 2013, 33 + 2 x 20 lt petrol-tanks, 8 knots max.speed, 2,5ltr/hour at 7 knots. 12v startbattery + 2 x domestic batteries @ 95 ah. alternator on engine + 2 x 40 w solar panels, shore-cable, non working petrol generator.
