Deze comfortabele toercatamaran is door de bouwer zelf ontworpen om geheel te voldoen aan zijn eisen, die hij in andere catamaran-ontwerpen niet verenigd kon vinden. Het jacht is in een mal gebouwd van massief polyester met sandwich dekken. Anders dan de stoere opbouw doet vermoeden gaan de slanke rompen vrij gemakkelijk door het water, mogelijk door het relatief lage gewicht. De term Motorsailor heeft betrekking op de dubbele besturing, binnen en buiten, de stevige Mercedes dieselmotor, die twee schroeven aandrijft en de bescheiden, makkelijk te bedienen kits-kottertuigage met strijkbare masten. This comfortable cruising catamaran is designed by the builder himself to meet his requirements, that he couldn't find in other catamaran designs. The yacht is built inside a female mould in solid GRP with sandwich decks. Despite the sturdy cabin the sleek hulls slice through the water quite easily, giving pleasant cruising speeds, thanks also to the relatively low weight. The term Motorsailor is derived from  the double wheel stands, inside and out in the cockpit, the powerful Mercedes diesel engine that drives two propellors and the modest, easily handled ketch cutterrig with lowering masts.
