Deze Lexline 38 is gebouwd voor een minder-valide zeiler die, toen

het jacht bijna klaar was, te slecht was geworden om nog te kunnen

varen. Deze ontwerpen van Verheus Multihull Design worden gekenmerkt door scherpe voorstevens, uitgebouwde rompen voor meer ruimte en volumineuze dragende achterschepen om het stampen op de golven te beperken. De naar buiten open spiegel-trappen en zeilbediening vanuit de kuip maken het jacht ook geschikt voor wat oudere zeilers die aan boord willen wonen. De huidige, tweede eigenaar werd na een aantal jaren  met noodzakleijke reparaties geconfronteerd, maar door tijdgebrek ligt deze catamaran na de eerste restauraties al weer langere tijd opgeslagen in een loods in Friesland, zoals te zien is op de volgende foto-pagina's.

This Lexline 37 is built for a partlydisabled sailor who had become too crippled to sail, when the yacht was nearly finished. These designs by Alexander Verheus are characterized by sharp stems, expanded midsections for more room and voluminous sterns to dampen the movement in approaching waves. The open-to-the-outside transomsteps and sailcontrolls/mast in the cockpit make this catamaran also suitable for elderly sailors who want to live on board. After a number of years the present, second, owner was confronted with some necessary repairs. For lack of time this Lexline 38 is now, after the first renovations, laid up in a dry hall in Friesland for quite some time, as shown on the following photo-pages.
