Deze Grainger TR10 trimaran is professioneel gebouwd bij Rhebergen Composiet Constructies in Amsterdam en is steeds zeer goed onderhouden. Het ontwerp van de TR10 is ontwikkeld voor een combinatie van reizen en wedstrijden. Toch is deze TR 10 bijna alleen maar voor tochten gebruikt, voornamelijk langs de Noorse kust maar ook voor een overtocht naar Schotland. Het zusterschip heeft ook een geslaagde reis gemaakt van Nederland naar Spitsbergen en terug maar was ook succesvol in wedstrijden op haar thuiswater. "Honolulu" is nr 2. van dit Grainger TR10 ontwerp. Gebaseerd op de ervaringen met het zusterschip is het ama-volume vergroot naar 180%, is het achterschip van de middenromp iets verlengd en het kajuitdak iets verhoogd. Dankzij de constructie methode is het jacht heel stijf en kan het opwindende zeilervaringen bieden.  Tegelijkertijd is er voldoende veiligheid in dit ontwerp om het zeilen niet al te spannend te maken voor het comfort van de bemanning.  Deze trimaran is in uitstekende staat te koop in West Noorwegen.

This Grainger TR10 Trimaran was professionally constructed by Rhebergen Composiet Constructies in the Netherlands and has been very well maintained. The design of TR10 was developed for a combination of racing and cruising. Still, this boat has been used almost 100% for cruising, mostly on the Norwegian westcoast, but has also crossed the North Sea to Scotland. Its sistership has made a succesful voyage from the Netherlands to Spitsbergen and back but also raced succesfully in her homewaters.

"Honolulu" is number 2 built of the Grainger TR10 design. Based on experience from the sister vessel, side hull buoyancy was increased to 180%, center hull was lengthened slightly aft and cabin rooftop was heightened slightly.  Due to its construction method, the boat is very stiff and can provide exhilarating sailing experiences. At the same time, it has sufficient inherent safety in its design to avoid sailing too much “on the edge” for comfort. This trimaran is in excellent condition for sale in West Norway.
