De Maldives is de kleinste kajuit-catamaran uit de indrukwekkende range van een van de grootste catamaran-werven van Frankrijk: Fountaine Pajot. Door een slimme oplossing voor de kombuis biedt dit jacht een opvallend ruim ogend interieur. Over het achterste deel van de kajuit kan een deel van het dek omhoog gezet worden waardoor ruime stahoogte en goede ventilatie boven de kombuis verkregen worden. Tevens ontstaat er  zo ruime stahoogte boven de doorgang naar de beide rompen. Het comfortabele interieur biedt twee dubbele kooien in de achterhutten en twee enkele kooien in de voorhutten. De Maldives staat bekend om haar goede zeileigenschappen en grote zeewaardigheid.

A smart solution for the galley creates a very spacious looking saloon, the more so when the aftermost part of the cabintop is lifted for plenty of headroom and good ventilation over the galley. It also considerably increases the headroom in the passageway. The comfortable interior offers 2 double bunks in the aft cabins and two singles in the fronthulls. The Maldives is well known for her performance under sail and seaworthiness.
