De 12m Catalac is een sterk gebouwde catamaran, ideaal voor permanente bewoning en zeereizen met een kleine bemanning. Met een indeling van zeven slaapplaatsen in ruime stijl met bijpassende inrichting en afwerking, volledige stahoogte van 1,95m in zowel rompen als stuurhuis. De bouwkwaliteit is uitzonderlijk; geheel in lijn met de Catalac-reputatie. Een zeewaardige jacht dat vaak de beste bewoonbare toercatamaran wordt genoemd, die ooit gemaakt is. Desondanks is de 12m Catalac zeker geen sloom schip. Het vaart gemakkelijk tot 40 graden aan de wind met een constante snelheid van 7-8 knopen bij 18 knopen windsnelheid en kan bij meer wind gemakkelijk een snelheid van 9-10 knopen aanhouden. Een elegante en comfortabele, ruime kruiser met binnen- en buiten-besturing voor tochten met het hele gezin. De kombuis bevindt zich in de bakboordromp en biedt warm en koud water onder druk, een koelkast, een fornuis met vier branders, een oven en een roestvrijstalen gootsteen met geïntegreerde afdruipplank. The 12m Catalac is a solidly built catamaran ideal for liveaboard and sailing long distances short handed. With a seven berth layout in spacious style with furnishing and trimmings to match, full standing {6' 5") headroom in both hulls and wheelhouse. The build quality is exceptional as befits the Catalac reputation. A seaworthy boat often called the best live aboard cruising catamaran ever made. Despite this the Catalac is by no means a slouch. It will sail easily to 40 degrees off the wind at a steady speed of 7-8 knots in an 18 knot breeze and in stronger conditions can easily maintain a speed of 9-10 knots. The galley is located in the port hull and offers hot and cold pressurized water, a refrigerator, a four burner hob, oven and stainless steel sink with integral draining board.
