De F-41 werd door Ian Farrier ontworpen als opvolger voor zijn trimaran eigenaren die meer ruimte zochten aan boord zonder de sprankelende zeileigenschappen in te leveren. Deze F-41 is door een werf in Letland werf gebouwd en fraai afgewerkt met uitstekende materialen. Het jacht heeft als "Waterman" met de eerste Nederlandse eigenaar een twee jaar durende reis naar Noord- en Zuidamerika gemaakt. De huidige Duitse eigenaar kocht het jacht in 2018 en heeft sindsdien de uitrusting nog verder uitgebreid en vernieuwd, zoals o.a. de electrische installatie, navigatie-apparatuur, de zeilen met rolrif in de giek, de 110lt/u. watermaker en de RIB bijboot met 20 PK  Mercury motor.

Catamarans die zoveel ruimte met opwindende zeileigenschappen combineren zijn zeldzaam, al ligt de nadruk nu meer op veilig snelle en comfortabele reizen maken, dan op het winnen van wedstrijden. Het jacht kan na afspraak bezichtigd en overgedragen worden in Portugal.

The F-41 is designed by Ian Farrier as the next step up for his trimaran-owners who wanted more space on board without loosing the sparkling performance. This F-41 is yard-built in Latvia from the best materials and finished in high quality. With the first Dutch owner the yacht has made, as "Waterman", a two year voyage to North and South America. The present German owner bought her in 2018 and he has since expanded and renewed equipment such as the electric installation, navigation instruments, the sails with in-boom furling, the 110 lt/h. watermaker and the RIB tender with 20 Hp Mercury outboard.

Catamarans that offer such good accommodations and exhilarating performance are rare, although the emphasis is now more on making fast and comfortable voyages safely, rather than on winning races. The yacht can be viewed by appointment and transferred in Portugal
