De Havkat 31 is een heerlijke, uitstekend zeilende, open brugdek catamaran met een goede accommodatie in de beide rompen en een beschutte U-vormige zithoek in de kuip. De ex-"Shamoo" en "Imposand" is mooi en sterk gebouwd door Rhebergen Multihull Yachts en door de ontwerper Lars Oudrup zelf van een zeilend casco voltooid tot een voorbeeldige racer/ cruiser. De volgende Duitse eigenaren hebben de toer eigenschappen wat meer benadrukt en het interieur nog verder aangekleed. Zo is het jacht in 2014/15  geheel gerenoveerd en voorzien van een volledig afsluitbare sprayhood over het open brugdek. De ex-"ImPoSand" is door de ruim bemeten watertanks, de 3 goede enkele en een dubbele kooi, in combinatie met de geringe diepgang ook zeer geschikt voor tochten over het Wad met 4-5 opvarenden. Wie de combinatie zoekt van de zeileigenschappen van een snelle trimaran met de accommodatie en het zeilcomfort van een toercatamaran, vindt in deze Havkat de ideale combinatie.  De "Zwarte Kat is door de huidige eigenaar in de afgelopen jaren verder geoptimaliseerd met een epoxy-sandwich kuipvloer en verbeterde motor-ophanging.

The Havkat 31 is an extremely well mannered, outstandingly sailing, open bridgedeck cruiser, with a good accommodation in each hull and sheltered U-shaped cockpit seats. The ex-"Shamoo" is very well built by Rhebergen Multihull Yachts and upgraded by the designer himself from a sailing shell to a high standard racer/cruiser. The consecutive German owners have put the emphasize a little more on the cruising capabilities and further enhanced the interior lay-out. The yacht was completely renovated in 2014/15 and equipped with a fully closable sprayhood over the open bridgedeck. The  ex "ImPoSand" is also very suitable for long stretches over the Waddensea with a crew of 4-5, thanks to the shallow draft, ample fresh watertanks, 3 good singles and a double bunk.
