De 8m Catalac is een lichtere uitvoering van de eerder ontwikkelde en zeer populaire 9m Catalac. De rompvorm onder de waterlijn is echter identiek aan die van de 9M Catalac en daardoor drijft de 8M bijna 8cm hoger op het water, met meer brugdek-vrijheid en wat levendiger eigenschappen, vooral bij licht weer. De "Susanna" is gestript van het typerende "stuurhuis" boven het brede schuifluik maar heeft wel een wegklapbare bimini voor bescherming tegen de Griekse zon. De kooi in de bakboord-romp is vervangen door een werkblad met bergruimte eronder en de dinette kan worden omgebouwd tot een 2 persoons bed. De PVC-wand en plafond-bekleding is vervangen door witte verf. De mechanische voortstuwing  komt van een 9.9 Yamaha en/of een 6PK Mercury motor. De "Susanna" is vanwege de gevorderde leeftijd van de Nederlandse eigenaar te koop in Griekenland.

The 8m Catalac is a considerably lighter version of the earlier and very popular 9m Catalac. As the hullform under the waterline identical is to that of the 9 Meter the 8 Meter floats some 3 inches higher, with less draft and more bridgedeck-freedom and a slightly more lively performance especially in light weather. "Susanna" is stripped of the typical "wheelhouse" over the large sliding hatch but she does feature a folding bimini for shelter against the Greek sun. The bunk in the portside hull is replaced by a desk with lockers underneath and the dinette can be transformed into a double bed. The standard PVC wall and ceiling lining is replaced by white paint. Mechanical propulsion is provided by a 9.9 Yamaha and/or a 6 Hp Mercury outboards. The "Susanna" is for sale in Greece due to the growing age of the Dutch owner.
