De Snowgoose Elite is één van 's werelds meest bewezen toer-catamarans voor lange zeereizen en permanente bewoning. De Elite blinkt uit door de solide bouw en grote zeewaardigheid. Daarbij is deze catamaran nog zo smal dat deze door de Franse Kanalen naar en van de Middellandse Zee kan varen.  "Famous Goose" is  als casco van de werf gekomen en in eigen beheer afgebouwd voor de eerste eigenaar. Het interieur is later verder aangepast aan de eisen van de volgende eigenaar met o.a. een werkplaatsje, een kantoor en een ruim twee persoons bed voor in de kajuit. Het interieur is eenvoudig maar praktisch afgewerkt en bijna alles werkt naar behoren. Een buitenkans om met een bescheiden budget verre reizen te maken.

On the other hand she is still narrow enough to pass through the French inland waterways to and fro the Med. "Famous Goose" came as casco from the Prout yard to be finished to the ideas and wishes of the first owner. The accommodation is later further adjusted to the needs of the next owner with i.e. a little workshop, an office and a big double bed in the forward part of the maincabin. The finish of the interior is simple but practical and almost everything works the way it should. A windfall for someone who wants to travel far on a low budget.
