De "Panic" is gebaseerd op het DUO 800 ontwerp van Bernd Köhler, de ontwerper die zich inzet voor de ontwikkeling van efficiënte, goed door amateurs te bouwen toer- en wedstrijdcatamarans. De zeer slanke, asymmetrische rompen van de "Panic" hebben weinig weerstand en snijden makkelijk door de golven.  Mede dankzij het goed gesneden grootzeil van een F-27 zeilt de Panic hoog aan de wind. De gestroomlijnde kajuit biedt een knusse accommodatie voor twee tot vier opvarenden met een "backpacker's" mentaliteit. Door de diverse trimmogelijkheden van het tuig is de "Panic" ook een interessante boot voor wedstrijdzeilers. Alhoewel goed gebouwd van multiplex, bekleed met glasweefsel en epoxyhars ligt deze boot er nu nogal verwaarloosd bij in Amsterdam. De prijs kan geen barrière zijn om de "Panic" weer in de vaart te brengen.

The "Panic" is based on the DUO 800 design by Bernd Köhler who is a strong promotor for the development of efficient cruising and racing catamarans that can be built easily by amateurs. The very sleek asymmetric hulls have little resistance and cut easily through an angry chop.  The well cut F-27 mainsail also helps the Panic to sail well to windward. The streamlined centercabin offers a cosy accommodation for two to four crew with a "backpacker's" mentality.  The various tuning possibilities of the rig make the "Panic" also an interesting boat for regatta sailors. Although well built out of ply and sheathed with glass in epoxyresin, this boat lies now rather neglected in Amsterdam, the owner living too far away and having too little time to look after her.
The asking price cannot be a barrier to stop someone from bringing the "Panic" back on the water.
