Richard Woods' MIRA is een toer-catamaran met voldoende draagvermogen en woonruimte om de wereldzeeën te bevaren met de mogelijkheid om met een passaatwind in de zeilen etmaalgemiddelden van 175-200 mijl te halen. Veel zelf gebouwde MIRA's hebben succesvolle 0ceaan oversteken gemaakt. Hun bouwwijze levert duurzame rompen op gebouwd van hechthout, bekleed met glasweefsels en epoxy. Er varen nu nog 50 jaar oude, in goede staat verkerende multihulls rond die op deze wijze gebouwd zijn. "Lady Rover" is ook op deze manier gebouwd in Finland door heer eerste eigenaar. Het volgende Deense eigenaren-paar bouwde zo'n 20  jaar geleden de middenkajuit over het brugdek voor meer woonruimte en comfort en liet de catamaran in 2008 in Denemarken registreren met bewijs van BTW-betaling . De huidige Duitse eigenaar kocht het jacht in 2013 en heeft het sindsdien zeer goed onderhouden en veel uitrusting vernieuwd/toegevoegd tot aan 2025. Door een verandering van plannen is de "Lady Rover" nu in Malta te koop met een Duitse registratie voor een zeer aantrekkelijke prijs.

Richard Woods' MIRA is a cruising catamaran with sufficient loading capacity and liveaboard space to be able to sail anywhere in the world, with a potential to average 175 - 200 miles a day when trade wind sailing. Many home built MIRAs have made successful ocean crossings. Their construction-method produces long-lasting hulls if built from marine-ply, covered with epoxy and glass. There are now 50 year old multihulls built that way, that are still in sound condition.

"Lady Rover" was built this way in Finland by her first owner following the original MIRA-plans. The next Danish owner-couple added the bridgedeck cabin for more living-space and comfort about twenty years ago and had the catamaran registered in Denmark with proof of VAT-payment in 2008.

The present German owner bought the yacht in 2013 and has since then thoroughly overhauled her and added/renewed equipment up until 2025. Due to a  change of plans the "Lady Rover" is now for sale in Malta with a German registration at a very attractive price.
